Turn your cards into cash fairly, with no headaches
Send a few photos, a checklist or just tell me what you’ve got. You’ll have a real
estimate within 48 hours (usually the same day). No pressure, no lowball offers, and I’ll tell you if you’d do better elsewhere.

How It Works
Send photos and a description of your cards
Tell me the years, sport, and key players. Include photos of your best cards (front and back). The more detail you give, the more accurate my estimate will be.
Get My Free Estimate in 48 Hours or Less
I’ll give you a clear number and, on larger collections, show you the recent sales that support it. We only move forward if you’re comfortable with the range.
You Get Paid The Same Day
I send a prepaid, insured shipping label (or come to you for bigger collections). You’ll get a firm offer within two days of me opening the box. Accept and I pay the same day. Decline and I return everything insured at my expense — no questions asked.
How I arrive at a number and advise you
I will be transparent with you and give you my best estimate on the value of your cards and how you can maximize your return
I look at recent public sales, not just price guides, so we’re both working from the actual current market. This way you know you’re not selling for too little and I’m not paying too much.
The higher the card’s value and the stronger the demand for it, the higher the percentage I can pay. I will be transparent about how much I can pay for a given card and why.
And if I believe you can get more by selling a different way, I’ll say so. I’d rather earn your trust than force a deal that doesn’t make sense for you.
I pay by cash, Zelle, Venmo, wire, or check, whichever is easiest for you.
What I Buy

Pre-War Sports Cards
Tobacco, caramel, etc. printed prior to 1941

Vintage Sports Cards
Any post-War cards through 1979.

Iconic Modern Cards
I buy certain iconic modern cards like ’86 Fleer Basketball, Joe Montana and Jerry Rice rookies.

Graded Cards
If a card is graded (no matter the era) I’ll likely buy it since it’s easy to determine market value.

Vintage Non-Sports Cards
I love vintage non-sports cards like 1962 Topps Mars Attacks and others from TV and Movies.

Complete Sets
Most any complete set prior to 1980 and some exceptions from the modern era.

Ross Uitts
Owner
You’ll be dealing directly with me, Ross Uitts
I’ve been collecting and buying cards for over 35 years. In that time I’ve learned one clear lesson: there’s no single “best” way to sell every collection. Some cards are better sold privately. Others perform better at auction. A lot depends on the specific cards, the current market, and what matters most to you: speed, maximum return, or simplicity. My job is to help you choose the right path and get a fair result either way. If selling to me is the best option, I’ll make a strong offer. If I think you’ll do better elsewhere, I’ll tell you straight and point you in the right direction.
Collections I’ve bought and what the sellers said

T206 Collection
“I sold my collection of T206 cards to Old Sports Cards, LLC. Ross was very helpful, professional and gave me a very fair price for my collection. I enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend him to other sellers.“
Lee M. – Richmond, VA

1929 Kashin Set
“I contacted several dealers/buyers without much success until I found Ross Uitts. Ross was professional, informative and offered me a fair price. He came to my home to inspect the cards and purchased the collection to my satisfaction.“
Roberta D. – Melbourne, FL

Vintage Willie Mays Collection
“From the initial contact through the delivery, grading and compensation process Ross was nothing short of awesome. The entire process was transparent and timely. I can honestly say that it couldn’t have gone better.“
Dusty G. – Orange Park, FL

1986 Fleer Basketball Set
“Ross is great, very personable, extremely likeable, all around good man–my personal impression there. I had a great experience selling him a 1986 Fleer Basketball Set. His articles are great, and very informative. I’d actually make an excuse just to visit with him again!!!“
Frank F. – Austin, TX

’50s and ’60s Baseball and Football Stars
“As a kid I collected sports cards in the 1950’s. Put them away in old cigar boxes and saved them for 70 years. Now was the time to part ways with my beloved cards. I was looking up card values on line and saw Ross/ Old Sports Cards and contacted him to discuss my collection. He was very prompt and professional calling me back and setting up a meeting. He purchased the cards he was interested in at an agreed value. I felt that he was honest and trustworthy and would recommend doing business with Ross.“
Tim T. – Wilmington, NC

A Father’s Vintage Collection
“I sold my father’s baseball collection and I can’t say enough good things about working with Ross. He was very honest and professional. He took the time to answer my questions and I really appreciated working with him.”
