Boasting one of the most intriguing designs in company history, the 2024 Topps baseball card set immediately raised eyebrows.
The black-and-white two-tone borders were reminiscent of the 1986 Topps baseball design.
But the neon-lighting theme was undoubtedly unique...
These design elements offered collectors an incredible collecting experience, unlike anything they'd ever seen.
And if the aesthetics somehow aren't enough to peak collector interest, the 350-card base checklist offers plenty of promising rookies.
Time will tell how many of them reach and maintain superstar status.
But the future looks bright.
Aside from the long list of parallels and variations, multiple inserts offer a nice nod to the 1989 Topps flagship set.
Overall, there is something for everyone in 2024 Topps baseball.
And in this guide, we'll take a look at the 25 most valuable.
Let's jump right in!
Before I get started, I just want to clarify some of the criteria I used in creating this list...
Given all of the variations, parallels, autograph, and memorabilia cards included in the 2024 Topps baseball release, developing a definitive "most valuable" list can be quite difficult at this time.
So, to build this list, I only focused on the base cards for now.
And I attempted to estimate their current values when graded in PSA 10 condition so their "raw" or ungraded values may be wildly different.
Now that we got that out of the way let's get started...
2024 Topps #500 Shohei Ohtani
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $60
Shohei Ohtani could not pitch in 2024, his first year of a blockbuster deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Recovering from right elbow surgery, the two-time MVP was relegated to DH duty for the NL West champs.
Didn't matter.
Not at all.
The first MVP in history to take every at-bat as a designated hitter, Ohtani slugged and streaked his way to the first 50/50 season in MLB history.
He is just the third player to finish top-two in the Majors in home runs (54) and steals (59), joining the immortal Honus Wagner (1908) and Ty Cobb (1909).
Most importantly, the now three-time MVP winner's presence in the lineup solidified the Dodgers as the team of the 2020s thus far.
Los Angeles won its second Series of the decade ('20), outlasting the Padres and Mets before outclassing the Yankees in a five-game Series win.
Ohtani was up and down during the Dodgers' October run, bookending a brilliant NLCS (.364 AVG, 2 HR, 9 runs) with quiet performances against San Diego and New York.

2024 Topps #99 Aaron Judge
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $50
Aaron Judge was one of the greatest impact hitters of this or any generation during the 2024 MLB season.
The playoffs were bafflingly different.
In 2022, Judge set a new AL record with 62 home runs.
He came four shy of that in 2024, yet had a better year altogether.
Named league MVP for the second time in three years, the hulking 32-year-old center field paced the majors in homers, RBIs (144), walks (133), on-base percentage (.458), slugging (.701), and OPS (1.159).
Judge posted a 223 OPS+ on the year, an all-encompassing metric adjusted for offensive production in a given season.
He was 123% better than the league-average hitter, the best performance by a right-handed hitter in the modern era.
Where was that Aaron Judge in the postseason?
The Yankees pushed through the American League to their first pennant in fifteen years.
However, it was despite their best player, not because of him.
Judge's three homers were big, but his .184 postseason average was a killer as the Yanks fell three games short of a title.

2024 Topps #1 Ronald Acuña Jr.
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $40
Shohei Ohtani's 50/50 season rightfully captured the headlines in 2024.
However, there remains a debate to be had.
Was Ohtani's 54-homer/59-steal campaign more impressive than 2023 NL MVP Ronald Acuna Jr.'s record-setting 41-homer/73-steal season?
Ohtani won a title, and Acuna didn't.
However, Acuna played all 156 games in the outfield and graded out above average defensively.
Ohtani was a DH and a DH only.
"That's a good question," Acuna said. "But, I think that's a debate for you guys to talk about."
If we're lucky, we'll get to see Acuna and Ohtani square off for MVP honors for the first time in 2025.
Acuna suffered the second season-ending ACL tear of his career in 2024, this time on the left.
He played just 49 games before going down, hitting .250 with a .716 OPS, four homers and 16 stolen bases.
Current projections are optimistic for an Opening Day return in 2025.

2024 Topps #19 Joey Votto
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $40
Joey Votto's MLB career is a testament to elite hitting, patience, and consistency, making him one of the greatest first basemen of his era.
Over 17 seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, Votto amassed 2,135 hits, 356 home runs, and a stellar .294 batting average, complemented by a .409 on-base percentage.
His keen eye at the plate earned him six All-Star selections, a 2010 National League MVP award, and seven Tip O'Neill Awards as Canada's top baseball player.
Votto's 2010 MVP season was a masterpiece, as he led the NL in on-base percentage (.424), slugging (.600), and OPS (1.024) while batting .324 with 37 homers and 113 RBIs.
A model of durability and discipline, he led the league in OBP seven times and walks five times, showcasing his unparalleled ability to control the strike zone.
Beyond the numbers, Votto's fiery competitiveness and quirky personality made him a fan favorite in Cincinnati.
Votto hung up the cleats for good after the 2023 season, leaving a legacy as one of the game's most cerebral and accomplished hitters.

2024 Topps #27 Mike Trout
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $40
Mike Trout missed just sixteen total games across his four-year peak from 2013 to 2016, following up his 2012 Rookie of the Year season with two AL MVPs and two runner-up finishes.
The Los Angeles Angels star was as durable as they come.
And then...
...he wasn't.
Trout remained at the pinnacle of the sport for the remainder of the 2010s, notching another MVP award in 2019.
However, injuries started to creep in, with a combined 96 games missed from 2017 to 2019.
That's when the wheels fell off completely.
Trout has averaged just 63.8 games played in the past five seasons, thanks to a laundry list of injuries.
He's played a half-season or more just twice.
2024 was another brief yet massive disappointment.
Trout tore his left meniscus on April 29 and was initially slated for a summer return.
However, he tore the meniscus again during a rehab assignment and was shut down for good.
Trout appeared in a career-low 29 games, hitting .220 with 10 homers and 14 RBIs.

2024 Topps #201 Miguel Cabrera
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $40
Miguel Cabrera's MLB career was a Hall of Fame masterpiece, defined by prodigious power, unparalleled consistency, and a legacy as one of baseball's greatest hitters.
Over 21 seasons, five with the Florida Marlins and sixteen with the Detroit Tigers, Cabrera amassed 3,174 hits, 511 home runs, and 1,881 RBIs, becoming one of only seven players in history to reach 500 homers and 3,000 hits.
A two-time American League MVP (2012, 2013), he captured the Triple Crown in 2012—the first player to do so in 45 years—by leading the AL in average (.330), homers (44), and RBIs (139).
Cabrera's accolades include 12 All-Star selections, seven Silver Slugger Awards, and four batting titles.
His peak with the Tigers was legendary, as he anchored a lineup that reached two World Series (2006, 2012).
Beyond the numbers, Cabrera's infectious personality and leadership made him a beloved figure in Detroit.
His 2023 farewell tour celebrated one of the MLB's most remarkable careers that transcended statistics.

2024 Topps #141 Elly de La Cruz Rookie Card
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $35
The 77-win Cincinnati Reds were one of the disappointments of the 2024 season, falling well short of increased expectations.
If the youthful Reds had been able to capitalize on the momentum of their 82-win campaign in 2023, Elly De La Cruz's explosive breakthrough would have likely netted him a top-five MVP placement.
As it was, De La Cruz placed eighth despite landing third in the NL in Fangraphs' baserunning value, third in defensive value, and third in WAR.
De La Cruz topped the Majors with 67 stolen bases.
That was two more than the entire Minnesota Twins roster.
He was boom-or-bust, capable of 500-foot bombs and tropical storm-level whiffs at any moment.
He posted 71 extra-base hits, 25 of those home runs.
He also struck out an MLB-worst 218 times.
The 22-year-old shortstop strung together hundreds of highlights, good and bad.
The final result was a mesmerizing, frustrating, yet absolutely spectacular sophomore season.

2024 Topps #62 Justin Verlander
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $30
Justin Verlander keeps pushing back at Father Time, even as his body tries to give in.
After injuries shortened the first year of a lucrative deal with Houston in 2023, the 41-year-old righty was again on the IL to start the '24.
The Astros held out that the Verlander who pitched very well in the '23 postseason was the same guy who they'd get in '24.
Instead, they got ten solid outings at a 3.95 ERA before he was sidelined again with a neck issue.
Verlander returned in late August but didn't have much to bring.
He got roughed up all September long, posting an 8.10 ERA in his final 33.1 innings.
Instead of taking his typical place as a Game 1 lock in the AL Wild Card Series, Verlander was skipped over entirely in Houston's two-and-out loss to the Detroit Tigers.

2024 Topps #200 Bryce Harper
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $30
Bryce Harper was fully healthy in 2024 for the first time since his 2021 NL MVP season.
The full-time transition to first base helped.
The Philadelphia Phillies superstar missed nearly 100 regular-season games in 2022 and 2023.
His rehab from Tommy John surgery was slow going and made him a potential liability to himself and the team in the outfield.
Instead of taking a chance, Harper accepted a primary role as a DH in 2022 before working towards a full-time gig at first in 2024.
The defensive results were okay.
Harper graded out as a slightly below-average defender at the three.
However, a clean bill of health was essential to the 31-year-old's third Silver Slugger campaign in four years.
Harper finished sixth in the league MVP race, slashing .283/.373/.525 for the NL East champs with 30 home runs and 87 RBIs in 145 games played.

2024 Topps #254 Bobby Witt Jr.
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $30
All 30 voters, unsurprisingly, chose Aaron Judge for American League MVP in 2024.
Similarly, all 30 picked Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. for runner-up.
It's the first time an AL MVP and his runner-up have been named unanimously.
Witt was the catalyst for a sudden Royals resurgence.
Kansas City hadn't posted a winning season since their 2015 world championship.
They entered 2024 with seven consecutive losing campaigns on the heels of a 56-win nightmare in 2023.
With Witt playing the best baseball of anyone other than Judge, the Royals surged early and held on late for a postseason return.
The 24-year-old finished second to Judge with 9.4 WAR and won his first AL batting title (.332).
He led the Majors in hits (211) and topped the AL in games played (161).
Witt also played Gold Glove defense while posting his second 30/30 campaign (32 homers, 31 steals) in a row.

2024 Topps #330 Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $30
In 2021, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. became the darling of the baseball world with a third-year breakout reminiscent of his father's Montreal peak.
In 2022 and 2023, we waited as the Toronto Blue Jays first baseman hashed out his game at a good yet not great level.
He captured an All-Star nod in both years but was far from transcendent.
Things continued to meander along early in 2024.
Guerrero hit .228 in March/April with just three home runs.
Alarms began to sound in what was already shaping up to be a disappointing year in Toronto.
The 74-win Blue Jays continued their downward trend, snapping a four-season winning record streak.
Guerrero did not go down with them.
The 25-year-old Dominican star blazed brighter as the season went on, finishing second in the AL batting title race at .323.
He hit 30 home runs for the third time in four seasons, and his 165 OPS+ stands a few ticks off of his 2021 explosion.

2024 Topps #351 Clayton Kershaw
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $30
The 2024 Dodgers got zero postseason innings from the all-world trio of Dustin May, Tyler Glasnow, and Clayton Kershaw.
They placed twelve starters on the IL and somehow still pushed past the Yankees for the franchise's eighth world championship.
As impressive as it was, the season still had its emotional pitfalls.
Losing a Los Angeles icon like Kershaw during the team's most important campaign in 36 years was more than a bummer.
It really hurt.
Kershaw missed the first three-and-a-half months of the year recovering from surgery on his throwing shoulder.
He pitched seven games following his return in mid-July with mixed results: a 2-2 record with a 4.50 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 30 innings.
The Dodgers tried their best to ease the 36-year-old lefty back into things, holding him to just over four innings per appearance.
However, his body failed to get the memo.
Kershaw went down on August 30 with a bone spur in his left big toe.
It ended up as his last appearance of 2024.

2024 Topps #484 Chris Sale
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $30
Chris Sale's road to his first Cy Young Award wasn't exactly an expressway.
Sale was among the most dominant pitchers of the 2010s, posting seven consecutive top-six Cy Young finishes from 2012-18.
He was undoubtedly the most consistent lefty ace of the decade.
As great as that stretch was, 2019-2023 was equally frustrating.
Sale underwent Tommy John surgery in 2020 and lost around two seasons' of starts the next three years with four fractures to four different body parts.
When the Braves acquired Sale via trade at the end of 2023, the worry was that he was damaged goods.
Atlanta thought otherwise, even extending the 6-foot-6 hurler on a two-year, $38 million pact.
The Braves ended up getting a steal in current market terms.
Sale took home the NL Triple Crown for the NL East champs, leading the league in wins (18), strikeouts (225), and ERA (238).
He is the first NL Triple Crown winner since Clayton Kershaw in 2021.

2024 Topps #553 Yoshinobu Yamamoto Rookie Card
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $30
Yoshinobu Yamamoto was posted to MLB free agency as one of the most accomplished NPB pitchers ever.
Yamamoto won three consecutive Sawamura Awards, the NPB equivalent to the Cy Young, before coming Stateside.
He also won the league's pitching Triple Crown in all three years, made three Japan Series, and won one.
From 2021 to 2023, Yamamoto went 49-16 with a 1.44 ERA and a jaw-dropping 580 strikeouts.
Of course, it was the Dodgers who made the money play to bring Yamamoto to Los Angeles.
With Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, and Yamamoto coming in, the Dodgers committed to more than $1.1 billion in offseason signings.
Yamamoto inked for twelve years and $325 million, the longest deal for a full-time pitcher in nearly five decades.
Was it a smart financial play?
We'll have to see.
Yamamoto looked strong in 18 starts, pitching to a 3.00 ERA with 105 strikeouts in 90 innings.
However, the 25-year-old missed three months with a right shoulder injury and was limited to shorter outings in four postseason starts for the world champs.

2024 Topps #700 Jose Altuve
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $30
Jose Altuve is synonymous with the Houston Astros' recent dynasty for both good and, let's say, controversial seasons.
So, it was no surprise when Altuve signed a five-year contract extension in February 2024 to ensure he remains an "Astro for life."
"To have him hopefully retire here is a big deal for the franchise," team owner Jim Crane said.
The 2017 Trash Can Gate scandal has put an asterisk on his MVP season (and the team's subsequent championship) in many minds.
Yet, you can't explain away the team's 2022 title and the six other LCS appearances they made afterward.
Altuve is a one-of-a-kind talent.
And he had another one-of-a-kind year for the AL West champs in 2024.
Named an All-Star for a ninth time and a Silver Slugger for a seventh, Altuve slashed .295/.350/.439 with 20 home runs, 22 stolen bases, 94 runs scored, and 65 RBIs in 153 games.

2024 Topps #50 Juan Soto
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $25
The New York Yankees felt a one-year stay would be enough for Juan Soto to choose NYC as his next and final destination.
It paid off handsomely in the short term.
Acquired in a seven-player blockbuster deal with the Padres, Soto teamed up with Aaron Judge to create the most potent 1-2 punch of this era.
Judge had one of the greatest offensive seasons of all time.
You can't help but give Soto big-time credit for offering MVP-caliber protection.
Placing third in the MVP race to Judge's first, Soto hit .288 with a .989 OPS, 41 home runs, and 109 RBIs in 157 games.
He led the AL with 128 runs scored and finished third to Judge and Ohtani in OPS+ (178).
He added millions onto his walk-year bounty in the postseason, as well, hitting .327 with a 1.101 OPS and 12 runs scored in New York's 14-game AL pennant run.
In the end, the Yankees were right.
New York was Soto's final destination.
However, he'll be there in a Mets uniform.

2024 Topps #102 Freddie Freeman
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $25
Freddie Freeman's regular season was just a 162-game prologue.
The Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman had his typical All-Star year in 2024, slashing .282/.378/.476 with 22 home runs and 89 RBIs in 142 games.
Freeman remained among the best first basemen in the game and on the shortlist of the top left-handed hitters of the century.
The list got even shorter in October.
Freeman tied Bobby Richardson's World Series record with 12 RBIs in two fewer games.
The 34-year-old hammered a home run in each of the first four contests to join the Astros' George Springer (2017) as the only player with a four-game single Series streak.
The barrage extended Freeman's personal Series run to six games, a new MLB record.
One of Freeman's bombs was, without a doubt, one of the most critical October blasts ever.
With the Dodgers trailing and down to their final out in Game 1, the no-doubt Series MVP sent Dodger Stadium into pandemonium with the first-ever walk-off grand slam in Series lore.

2024 Topps #450 Gunnar Henderson
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $25
At some point, the Baltimore Orioles youth movement has to take the next step.
The October step, mind you.
The O's pulled off one of the most impressive rebuilds we've ever seen in the late 2010s and early 2020s.
After tearing down a 2016 playoff squad and bottoming out for four years, the Orioles turned a stockpile of top picks into one of the best teams in the American League.
At the center of it all is Gunnar Henderson.
Named 2023 AL Rookie-of-the-Year, the 23-year-old shortstop upgraded his game in 2024, finishing fourth for AL MVP with a .281/.364/.529 slash line, 37 home runs, 21 stolen bases, 118 runs scored, and 92 RBIs.
Henderson's 9.1 WAR ranked fourth in the Majors.
It all translated to 91 wins in the regular season...
...but zero in the playoffs.
The O's ate a Wild Card sweep at the hands of the Kansas City Royals, scoring just one run in two games.
Henderson failed to register a hit in seven at-bats.

2024 Topps #35 Adley Rutschman
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $20
There were two Adley Rutschmans in 2024.
One was a driving force for Baltimore's expected run to a playoff berth.
The other was an impatient, below-average hitter who seemed utterly exhausted.
Rutschman carried on where he left off during his 2023 Silver Slugger season with an All-Star first half.
He slashed .294/.350/.471 with 15 home runs and 55 RBIs through June 30, leading Baltimore to a blistering 53-31 start.
The second half was a gruesome mirror image.
The 26-year-old backstop looked visibly worn down, and it showed in his stat line.
Rutschman hit just .194 in the second half with a worrying .564 OPS.
He hit just four home runs in those 69 games.
As their catcher faded, so did the Orioles.
Baltimore finished two games under in the second half to back into a Wild Card berth.
They were promptly held to one run in a two-game Wild Card Series loss to Kansas City, with Rutschman going 1-for-8 in the home debacle.

2024 Topps #60 Jasson Dominguez Rookie Card
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $20
After a blistering end to the 2023 season, much of the 2024 MLB season saw Jasson Dominguez sidelined by injury.
The young phenom made his long-awaited debut when the Yankees called him up on September 1, 2023, to face Justin Verlander and the Houston Astros.
And Dominguez promptly sent the first pitch he saw into the outfield bleachers, becoming the youngest in franchise history to hit a home run.
In a flash, Dominguez had validated the hype around him.
Unfortunately, it was incredibly short-lived.
Dominguez would hit three more home runs before tearing his UCL and cutting his season short just nine days later.
Even worse, the injury ate into his 2024 season, putting him on the 60-day injured list to start the season.
The bad news didn't end there.
Beginning in May, Dominguez started working his way through the Minors, only to be sidelined for several more weeks after suffering an oblique injury in mid-June.
Dominguez eventually played 18 games for the Yankees late in the season, batting .179 with two home runs and four RBIs in 56 at-bats.
Let's hope he can stay healthy in 2025, as he's projected to be the Yankees' starting left fielder.

2024 Topps #250 Mookie Betts
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $20
Mookie Betts entered 2024 expecting his first primary middle-infield gig.
Betts appeared sparingly at second for Boston in six seasons and was mostly used in right.
After starting there with the Dodgers in 2020, Betts was slowly transitioned to second base by manager Dave Roberts.
It appeared a foregone conclusion he'd start there in 2024.
Instead, Gavin Lux struggled to keep up in the spring, and Betts was suddenly thrust over to shortstop.
Lux eventually settled at second, and Betts essentially split time at short and in right.
What does this all say?
Betts might be the most versatile superstar in the game.
Named a Silver Slugger for the sixth time in seven years despite missing a month-and-a-half due to injury, Betts hit .289 with a .863 OPS, 19 home runs, 16 stolen bases, and 75 RBIs.
He followed that up with a .290 average, four homers, 16 RBIs, and 14 runs scored in the Dodgers' 16-game championship sprint.

2024 Topps #257 Colton Cowser Rookie Card
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $20
The current-day Baltimore Orioles seemingly have a factory for manufacturing rookie sensations.
First it was Adley Rutschman.
Then, it was 2023 AL Rookie-of-the-Year Gunnar Henderson, Baltimore's first RoTY winner since Gregg Olson in 1989.
In 2024, it was Colton Cowser's turn to carry the baton.
Finishing just short of AL RoTY honors in one of the tightest races ever, Cowser opened the year hitting .303 with an OPS over 1.000, six home runs, and 18 RBIs in March/April.
He wasn't able to keep up that torrid pace.
However, the 24-year-old outfielder still lapped the field with 24 home runs, eight more than any other American League rookie.
Cowser also placed first among AL rookies in runs scored (77), first in fWAR (4.0), third in doubles (24), third in RBIs (69), and third in OPS (.768).
He was also irreplaceable for Baltimore on defense, earning a spot as a Gold Glove finalist.

2024 Topps #294 Tarik Skubal
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $20
Tarik Skubal's 2024 season was a masterclass in pitching dominance.
The 27-year-old Detroit Tigers' ace finished with a sparkling AL-best 2.38 ERA over 192 innings, striking out an MLB-leading 228 batters while walking just 35.
His 10.7 strikeouts per nine innings and 0.922 WHIP ranked among the league's elite, underscoring his ability to silence lineups.
Skubal's command and poise were on full display, as he led the American League in FIP (2.49) and WAR among pitchers (6.3).
Skubal was the clear anchor of a Tigers rotation that helped the team surge into playoff contention over the season's final months.
The push was admirable, but Detroit fell short of a postseason berth, finishing 6.5 games behind the AL Central champion Cleveland Guardians.
Yet, Skubal's performance gave Tigers fans plenty of hope.
And he was rewarded with his first All-Star selection, a Cy Young Award, and down-ballot MVP votes.

2024 Topps #672 Wilyer Abreu Rookie Card
Estimated PSA 10 Gem Mint Value: $20
Wilyer Abreu made his MLB debut in 2023 for the Boston Red Sox, appearing in 28 games and earning a reputation as one of the game's most promising outfielders.
And in 2024, he solidified his case, earning both the Fielding Bible Award and a Gold Glove for his work in right field.
He also earned down-ballot votes for AL Rookie of the Year, finishing just behind Cleveland's Cade Smith for sixth place.
Abreu held his own on the offensive side of the ball, too, slashing .253/.322/.459 with 15 home runs, 58 RBIs and 59 runs scored in 399 at-bats.
But it was his glove that did most of the talking.
Perhaps the most impressive thing about Abreu's 2024 campaign was that he was the first Red Sox rookie since Fred Lynn in 1975 to win a Gold Glove.
And it was just the seventh time in MLB history a rookie outfielder won the award.
For Red Sox fans, the future looks bright in right.

2024 Topps #624 Austin Wells Rookie Card

2024 Topps Baseball Cards In Review
Released in two 350-card Series, the 2024 Topps baseball card set raised the bar for creativity with its unique look and feel.
What might have seemed like a bit of a gamble at the time turned out to be one of the most memorable designs in many years.
Aside from the attractive visual appeal, hobbyists could find autographs, relics, parallels, inserts and a solid list of rookies within the 700-card checklist.

There were also several different subsets, including:
- Future Stars
- League Leaders
- All-Star Rookies
- Team Checklists
If you enjoyed the "Junk Wax" era of the late 80s, you'll love many of the inserts in this set that played off of the 1989 Topps flagship design.
There may be some things to pick at here and there for certain collectors.
But, overall, I think this set is a home run by pushing the envelope with a fantastic design and plenty of great rookie cards that will hopefully pan out over the long term.
